Primarily, I am a mom, and if you are reading this then you either are a mom, soon to be a mom, or know someone who is a mom. When the opportunity to join HipMelon came along in early 2008, it was an opportunity I could not pass up. With one successful business under my belt, I was ready to move on to something else. HipMelon is a company that is just on the cusp of something wonderful, and I am proud to be able to nurture it into becoming what it so deserves to be.
Growing up, all I ever wanted to be was a mom. A mom and an artist. The beauty of HipMelon is that it allows me to be both. Who could ask for more? Sewing since my youth allows me to present all HipMelon items with the most professional construction, hand sewn using breathable, washable, high quality, cotton stretch, fabric. Creatively, for me, the best part of HipMelon is getting to choose the most fun and funky fabrics on the market and bring them to you.
Here at HipMelon we are a socially responsible company. By maintaining production on a local level, we are able to keep a high level of quality assurance. We are proudly sweatshop free supporting fair trade and fair pay.
As a former baby-wearing mother myself, it is widely known that "wearing your baby" is not only fashionable, but also good for you and your baby. That's right, not only does baby wearing allow freedom of movement for parents but also baby wearing promotes the physical and emotional development of the child. Babies are happier.
